CY035 - Healthcare is Sick: A Diagnosis & Wellness Plan for Medical Cyber Safety

Session Description

Connected medicine is under increasing attack - and we’re not ready for it. The Congressional Task Force on Healthcare Industry Cybersecurity has described “Healthcare Cybersecurity is in Critical Condition”. Much reform has been started, but much more is required. Come hear from two pioneers in this space: Penny Chase from MITRE will walk you through a rubric developed which can be used by manufacturers and hospitals to assess and prioritize vulnerabilities. Christina Mazzone of Partners / Brigham Women’s Hospital will outline their top challenges and findings in secure increasingly connected patient care. **This session is part of the Cyber Safety Symposium. If you wish to attend this session, please register for the co-located event during the registration process or by logging back into your registration path and adding it to your existing package.**
