DEC36B - Moving MBD from OEM to Supplier: Is There A Ringmaster Somewhere in This Circus?

Session Description

Orchestrating and directing all elements of your supply chain can sometimes feel like you've taken on the role of Ringmaster in your very own circus. But are you the best person equipped for that role? A circus is chaotic, addictive and mesmerizing all at the same time. Are you able to keep all the balls in the air without more than a few of them hitting you (or your suppliers) on the head? Or would you be better served employing the strengths and deliverables of MBD as the repository for un-ambiguous data capture? Learn how to implement MBD across the supply chain hand-off. MBD does not mean "Manufacturing Builds Drawings", rather it is utilizing an annotated model and its associated data elements to capture product definition without a drawing.
